I am fully convinced that it will be a unique and extremely interesting judo competition on August 9 at Medborgarplatsen in central Stockholm. That’s when the Oslo and Helsinki are challenged by Stockholm in a teamcompetition in all three categories, cadets, juniors and seniors. Many exciting matches will be fought outside. Not least when I see that both Oslo and Helsinki lines up with strong teams with many international men and women.

Stockholm will be offering very tough resistance with a very strong team and this makes  it an excellent competition. Our superstars Martin Pacek, Marcus Nyman, Robin Pacek, Tommy Macias, Emma Barkeling and Mia Hermansson will do their best to take home the victory to Stockholm.

And right they are on the same team as our juniors and cadets will certainly motivate our young judokas even more if possible. We have many talented juniors and cadets who are already among the Europe elit. Like Emil Mattsson, Hamon Shokohi, Gabriel Vesterlund, Christopher Macias and Pontus Persson belongs there. The team supplemented by even more SM-medalists and this whole mix of young and more experieced judokas makes the team a lovely mix. Is with pride I’m a coach along with Patrik Wennerland for Stockholm.
