Annual report 2011

Now comes the last day of the year and a lot has happened in 2011.

Own club Färgelanda JK: During the spring there was a lot in the club. We had the first self-organized camp ever in FKJs history, “Super Kidz”, which became a success with over 30 children with parents who participated in many activities, food, food and overnight stay, as well as grading.  School PE visit to Valboskolan 2 times, Yoga every Sunday, Bring a friend’s week, Arrange several Open House, Ninja Cup and Judodraget with good results, and summer training every Thursday. After the summer there was more and more speed at the club every time and we have graded a lot of members up in the knowledge ladder and the quality is on a higher level in all the groups.

We elderly went to Katakurs in Uddevalla in August, but it was later only me and my brother who, after a lot of training, finished the test on the Black belt on 29 October. We have had a new concept “Family Week”, everyone’s family and siblings were allowed to participate together in the judo theater with great success. We have grown up in our children’s groups, Höstmys had a training in the autumn holidays. Finished the autumn term with our featured club championship where we never had so many groups that competed earlier plus an open weight class so attracted much attention.

For my part, a lot has happened this year in addition to the club’s lovely drive forward. I started the “Judo Trainer / Judo tranee” group on Facebook, which you probably know on January 23rd, 2011. At first it was the best to try and see how it happened, but after some time I understood that such a thing this modern forum is needed in JudoSweden. Membership has steadily risen slowly and surely now has over 300 members. Estimate that you are becoming increasingly used to the idea of using this forum in every possible way, because it is just created for you with a judge whether you are a parent or elite. So I hope this forum will continue to grow and be used diligently even next year. Thank you all for your gratitude and it warms when you feel like doing a good job, I try as best I can and keep it running, directing and communicating with you. And do not be afraid to ask me something I would like to answer questions.

Last autumn, I was asked by the Swedish Judo Federation and their IT group to help and discuss the right attitude towards social media for the federation and at the moment I have responsibility for what is written on the Facebook page of the Swedish Jewish Federation, so there are relative things , keeps the label outward and makes sure everyone writes in their posts as an administrator when writing in the name of the Jewish Federation. Have also been meeting with the group during the fall which I thought was very nice and rewarding, as well as meeting as motivated people as me.

On November 16, 2011, I decided to start a judo log, but did not really know how to put up and what categories to include. Luckily, I facilitated the idea of Peter Westlund from Långhyttans Judoklubb, which I previously learned through my forum. And it showed that he first liked the idea and that he then told me that he is working on web development already in his work and would also help me. So, with great help, I got the page as I wanted it and on that road it was. It is used to highlight both judo itself as art, judo subjects and helpful things and tips.

Then I created a youtub account where I collected lots of different playlists with different good clips that anyone can use. I’m uploading new new clips. Link You’ll Find Here!

And with this I wish you a good end and a good new 2012!

Hugs Eleonor
